TROLLY MAX
TROLLY MAX is a portable pneumatic open blasting machine with a 17-litre vessel, designed to provide greater abrasive autonomy and reduce refill frequency. It is suitable for work on larger surfaces and for prolonged operations in workshops, on worksites and during maintenance, while retaining a structure that is easy to move.
The Start & Stop system integrated into the gun allows the abrasive stream to be started and stopped directly from the working position while retaining the selected settings. The blasting hose, available in 6- or 8-metre lengths depending on the configuration, makes it easier for the operator to move around when the machine is positioned away from the surface being treated.
The enlarged structure, two side wheels and dual handle facilitate movement. The conical bottom promotes consistent abrasive flow; operation with compressed air means that the blasting machine itself does not require an electrical power supply.
Applications of TROLLY MAX
TROLLY MAX is suitable for treating iron, wood, stone, brick and glass by selecting the abrasive, nozzle and pressure according to the substrate and required finish. The 17-litre capacity supports greater continuity of work on items, components and surfaces requiring longer operations.
-
Blasting iron and metal
Suitable for removing rust, oxidation, old paint and coatings from gates, fabricated metalwork and metal items.
-
Blasting wood
Suitable for paint removal and treatment of shutters, doors, window frames, furniture and solid-wood elements, with the configuration adjusted according to the hardness of the wood.
-
Blasting stone and brick
Suitable for removing residues and surface alterations from stone, brick and architectural elements compatible with abrasive treatment, following a preliminary test on the material.
-
Glass processing
Allows engraving and frosting using suitable masking and abrasives, with preliminary tests carried out to establish the required finish and correct operating conditions.
-
Workshop, maintenance and worksite applications
Wheel-mounted handling and greater operating autonomy facilitate work on structures, components and items directly within the working area.
Advantages of TROLLY MAX
17-litre vessel and easy handling
The 17-litre vessel reduces refill frequency compared with a lower-capacity machine. Two side wheels and a dual handle make the machine easier to move. Actual autonomy depends on abrasive consumption and the configuration used.
Integrated Start & Stop control
The control on the gun allows the abrasive stream to be started and stopped without returning to the machine. This is useful with 6- or 8-metre hoses, during repositioning and in operations requiring frequent pauses.
Four nozzles and abrasives below 0.6 mm
TROLLY MAX uses abrasives with a particle size below 0.6 mm and is supplied with four ceramic nozzles of different diameters. Nozzle selection should take into account the compressor's actual airflow, the material and the operation being carried out.
More consistent abrasive flow
The conical bottom promotes abrasive flow and consistent feeding. Dry abrasives and appropriately treated compressed air help reduce build-up and interruptions in the abrasive stream.
Enlarged structure and easier maintenance
The enlarged structure is equipped with a safety valve that activates automatically at 8 bar. Components subject to wear are replaceable; periodic inspection of seals, valves, fittings and nozzles helps keep the machine operating efficiently.
Included equipment
The proposed TROLLY MAX configuration includes the accessories listed below. A compressor with sufficient airflow for the nozzle and operating pressure is required.
- 13 litres of OLYBLAST ecological abrasive
- Professional RC4 mask
- Gun with Start & Stop control and 6- or 8-metre blasting hose, depending on the configuration
- Set of 4 ceramic nozzles of different diameters
- Standard pneumatic fittings
- Use and maintenance manual
Operating recommendations
To use TROLLY MAX correctly, nozzle diameter, pressure and actual compressor airflow must be matched to the material being treated. The 17-litre vessel increases abrasive autonomy; removal capacity depends on the abrasive-stream configuration and the air available.
Use consistent, dry abrasives compatible with particle sizes below 0.6 mm. Moisture can affect feeding consistency: depending on operating conditions, a condensate-separation system or compressed-air dehumidification system may be useful.
Open blasting disperses abrasive and removed material within the working area. Prepare a suitable working area and use the PPE required for the operation in accordance with the instruction manual. During periodic maintenance, inspect seals, valves, fittings, nozzles and components subject to wear.
Is your compressor suitable for TROLLY MAX?
TROLLY MAX performance depends on the actual airflow delivered by the compressor at the operating pressure, the nozzle diameter, the abrasive and the hose length. Power expressed in HP alone is not sufficient to determine compatibility: an undersized compressor can cause pressure drops and interruptions in the abrasive stream.
Use the FEVI configurator as an initial guide and request a configuration check by providing the delivered airflow, available pressure and type of operation.
Frequently asked questions about TROLLY MAX
Which materials is TROLLY MAX suitable for?
Discover the answer
TROLLY MAX is suitable for iron and fabricated metalwork, wood, stone, brick and glass that are compatible with abrasive blasting. Abrasive, pressure and nozzle must be selected according to the substrate; preliminary tests make it possible to verify the achievable finish.
When should TROLLY MAX be chosen and how much abrasive does it hold?
Discover the answer
TROLLY MAX is suitable when greater autonomy is required compared with standard TROLLY. The 17-litre vessel reduces refill frequency and facilitates longer operations. Productivity nevertheless depends on the compressor, nozzle, abrasive and surface being treated.
What is the Start & Stop system used for?
Discover the answer
The Start & Stop system allows the abrasive stream to be started and stopped directly from the gun while retaining the selected settings. It reduces the need to return to the machine during pauses and repositioning.
